In June of 1999 The Friends and Family of Chic Kelly was established for two reasons. Primarily, the foundation seeks to raise funds necessary to assist individuals living with spinal cord injury who lack the resources needed to carry out daily living activities. The second goal of our organization is to fund research aimed at finding a cure for spinal cord injury. At present, there is no cure for individuals who sustain a spinal cord injury.
