I wanted to thank the both of you for promoting the SJU Hawk Dragon Boat Team's charity, Old Saint Joseph's Outreach Program for Homeless Men in '44's Blog ' and on the ' Hawk Hoop Club Message Board '. Additionally, I wish to thank everyone who supported the SJU Dragon Boat Team and the Old Saint Joseph's Outreach Program with a monetary donation or donations of non-perishable food or other materials.

Thru Monday, 10/5 between the team and others purchasing Dragon Boat Hats & Visors and donations received, a total of $475 has been collected for the OSJ's Outreach Program. I know from speaking with and exchanging emails with others, there are still additional donations in transit. There are 7 white visors displaying Chinese symbols translating ' The Hawk Will Never Die ' left for $20/each. If anyone is interested in purchasing a visor, $5 of each visor sold is donated to OSJ's. Checks are to be payable to ' Rich Brennan '. If anyone is interested is making a donation to OSJ's, checks are to be payable to ' Old Saint Joseph's '. Mail checks for Old Saint Joseph's and for the visors to:

AOH Dennis Kelly Division - Be True To Your School !!

The Ancient Order of Hibernians in Havertown are hosting a fundraiser for local Parish Schools. A Beef & Beer will be held and funds will be allocated to Parish schools according to ticket sales. All attendees are asked to write the Parish they wish their attendance to sponsor on the back of their ticket. Tickets will be collected and proceeds divided accordingly. $25 per ticket for unlimited beer, wine, soda, gourmet food and live music provided by Misty Isle.
